I could have done without the eTown recording
Despite the rain, it was a great night for a concert. I've seen Daniel Tosh many times and his stage presence and performance is always great. Plus the sound and vocals were off for most of the night. This could be attributed to the gusting winds but seemed to come and go, leading me to believe it was more a function of poor sound set-up (perhaps due to the eTown recording??) rather than the winds. When he gets to really play and talk with the crowd, it's a special thing. Unfortunately the performance felt like it was made for the eTown radio/podcast recording and this show seemed much more bland and scripted than any show I've seen for Daniel. But Daniel and his large band are really great and a show worth seeing. I just thought this performance was Average at best.
